WACOMP GHANA: QUALITY MANAGEMENT TRAINING COURSE SPECIFIC PRACTICES: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018 & GMP


The WACOMP Ghana component is funded by the EU under the 11th European Development Fund (EDF) and implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MoTI). The programme seeks to improve the competitiveness of Ghanaian exports with a focus on three main value chains: cassava and derivatives, fruits (mango and pineapple), cosmetics and personal care products, through enhanced value-addition, low carbon sustainable production and processing aimed at increased access to regional and international markets.

WACOMP seeks to train a pool of National Experts to support SMEs in implementing quality management principles. WACOMP would be organizing a five-day Training of Trainers course in Quality Management training in the following system standards:

  1. Quality Management (ISO/IEC 9001:2015)
  2. Food SafetyManagement (ISO 22000:2018)
  3. ISO 22716 GMP for Cosmetic sector

TARGET GROUP:

 The training is targeted at Personnel in the Private Sector and Intermediate Organizations, Business Support Organizations who understand the requirements of either of the two standards and are prepared to work under the Chief Technical Advisor (UNIDO WACOMP Ghana) and the National Quality Infrastructure expert.

Candidates from the Northern, Savannah and Volta regions will be considered as a priority.

EXIT EXAMINATION

Selected participants will go through a ‘qualification examination’ at the end of the ToT. Successful candidates will qualify as management system practitioners or auditors and will receive a training certificate.
